Street View Italy is Live

Google Maps Street View was rolled out for Spain on Monday, and now Thursday(New Zealand local time) it’s live for Italy too. It is quick, Cities are available to enjoy so far are: Milan, Florence, Rome and Lake Como.

Do you have any idea why NZ has not been rolled out - I had heard that we were due next before Europe, all the work has been done and at time the button is live on maps.

Just guess we need to be patient!!

Google's spokesman in Sydney, Rob Shilkin, says they take the privacy concerns seriously.After protecting the identity of people filmed in public places, they will talk with the privacy commissioner Marie Shroff.

God knows how long it would take. we just need a little bit patience.
