2、logo里只留下一个“o”和“g”两个字母,正好是“go”,而且是反过来的“go“,预示着Google真的要go了?

H.G.Wells

go_gle[1]

goog_e[1]

All your o are belong to us",结合图像暗示了谜底和外星人有关。

The War of the Worlds(世界大战)中,英国被来自火星的外星人入侵,而UFO降落的第一个地点就是Wells家附近的Horsell Common

Google logo -- Father's Day

Google logo -- first day of winter

Google logo first day of winter

Google logo -- First day of spring

Like Google logo - first day of fall in the southern hemisphere, some countries from the northern hemisphere such as google.co.jp google.co.kr display a logo called first day of spring.

The only differences are color of "G" and "l".

Google logo -- First day of fall

Google New Zealand and Google Australia released this logo to reminder people today is First day of fall. The logo contains a apple, orange, strawberry and falling leaf, which tells people harvest season is arriving.

The Southern Hemisphere starts turning colder and colder.... Back to my hometown China, today is start of Spring. Chinese seasons are traditionally based on 24 periods known as solar terms , and begin at the midpoint of solstices and equinoxes.

Google logo -- Saint Patrick's Day

Google Saint Patrick's Day logo 2009

Google logo -- International Women's Day

Google logo -- Carnival

Today Google Brazil launched it's Carnival logo. Actually, I went down to Wellington for the Cuba Carnival yesterday. New Zealand is a small country, didn't get its logo. Good for you Brazil!

It was a great day! The sun came out, and the Carnival lived up to its reputation as New Zealand’s largest street celebration, with an estimated crowd of around 150,000. It reminded me of life back in Asia where you see people everywhere!

Google logo -- Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Valentine's Day Google released two doodle logos. first one is G XOgle, some people may ask what does "XO" mean? The answer is Hugs and kisses, also love and kisses.

The Oxford English Dictionary states that X is "used to represent a kiss, esp. in the subscription to a letter There is no general consensus on the origins of the O as a hug. The O could relate to the shape formed when two hands are crossed in a hug, forming a type of O. The 'X' may also refer to the pursing of the lips when kissing.

Similarly, written letters or greetings cards often include 'X' after a person's name or signature to indicate a kiss.

There is much debate on whether X's represent hugs or kisses. Some argue that X's represent kisses, but due to the "hugs and kisses" paradigm, some contend that 'X' is in fact lined up with the 'hug' and 'O' with the kiss. Also, arms crossing while hugging indicate an X while puckered lips form an O.

The second logo is a couple of happiness birds, who lean on each other.

Google logo -- Charles Darwin

Google logo Charles Darwin
Charles Robert Darwin FRS (12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882) was an English naturalist who realised and demonstrated that all species of life have evolved over time from common ancestors through the process he called natural selection. The fact that evolution occurs became accepted by the scientific community and much of the general public in his lifetime, while his theory of natural selection came to be widely seen as the primary explanation of the process of evolution in the 1930s, and now forms the basis of modern evolutionary theory. In modified form, Darwin’s scientific discovery is the unifying theory of the life sciences, providing logical explanation for the diversity of life.

His 1859 book On the Origin of Species established evolutionary descent with modification as the dominant scientific explanation of diversification in nature. He examined human evolution and sexual selection in The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex, followed by The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals. His research on plants was published in a series of books, and in his final book, he examined earthworms and their effect on soil.

In recognition of Darwin’s pre-eminence, he was one of only five 19th-century UK non-royal personages to be honoured by a state funeral,]and was buried in Westminster Abbey, close to John Herschel and Isaac Newton.
